Jeanette’s Custard is a quick recipe with a hint of nutmeg that puts the finishing touch to any dessert. Using just milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla, you have a custard that is a pleasure to eat.
Heat the oven to 325 degrees.
Combine the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and milk in a medium bowl. Beat well and pour into individual custard cups or a baking dish.
Sprinkle nutmeg over the mixture and bake for 35 minutes. The custard is done when a knife inserted in the center of the custard comes out clean.
