Pasta with Walnut Sauce is a simple Italian recipe combining clean ingredients to create the perfect sauce. The blended combination of the ricotta with the garlic, parmesan cheese and parsley makes a sublime creamy textured sauce. This sauce covers the piping hot pasta turning it into a superb main dish suitable for any table. However, this recipe is very tasty so it will become more and more requested.  I have used walnuts in this recipe but if you prefer, pine nuts create the same texture.   • Combine all the ingredients except the cooked pasta in an electric blender/processor.
  • Blend until fairly smooth - small pieces of nuts add a nice texture.
  • Toss with the cooked pasta, adding a little bit of the pasta cooking water to thin the sauce if necessary.
  • Serve immediately.
