Hummus

Hummus is a very popular vegetarian and vegan dip that is so easy to make. Why buy it when you can make your own in a matter of minutes and flavour it how you want not what is in the plastic tub in a shop. I also serve this with warmed pitta bread, raw vegetables as nibbles, starter, appetiser and also as a side dish. It works with everything. This dish may have originated in Greece and Asia but the rest of the world has welcomed it in. Being serious, a superb dip with only four ingredients in under 10 minutes can’t be bad.
