Amazing Lasagna has to be one of the most popular forms of feeding a group of people. It is easy to produce, full of flavour and any leftovers will keep you going for days. Lasagne is made with layers of pasta and sauce. I use ground beef with tomatoes, onions and garlic for a bolognaise feel. However, the indulgence really comes from the three cheeses I use, cheddar, mozzarella and cottage cheese. I serve it with Homemade Garlic Bread for wiping the bowl. Furthermore, one of the best things about Lasagne is that it is good to make in advance and freeze and good to reheat.
Some dishes have a way of wrapping you in warmth, filling the kitchen with aromas that promise a satisfying meal. Amazing Lasagna is one of those dishes—a hearty, cheesy, and deeply comforting bake that never fails to impress.
This version starts with a robust, slow-simmered meat sauce, rich with minced onion, garlic, and ground beef, all infused with the deep flavours of tomatoes and oregano. While the sauce bubbles away, the lasagna sheets soften in salted boiling water, ready to absorb all the goodness of the layers to come.
Then comes the magic of assembly—spoonfuls of the thick, meaty sauce layered between perfectly cooked noodles. The creamy contrast of cottage cheese brings a light, almost velvety texture, while the mozzarella melts into golden ribbons of indulgence. A sharp touch of cheddar adds that final hit of richness.
Baked until bubbly and irresistible, this lasagna emerges from the oven with its top layer of cheese gloriously melted, the sauce oozing into every bite. Whether served fresh and piping hot or saved for a next-day treat (when the flavours somehow deepen even more), Amazing Lasagna is a dish that brings people together—one comforting, cheesy forkful at a time.

The meat sauce was so flavourful after simmering, and the cheese layers made every bite melt in my mouth. I highly recommend this dish.
I enjoyed this lasagna, but I found the cottage cheese a little too much for my taste. Next time, I might reduce it slightly. Otherwise, it was delicious and filling.

The lasagna turned out amazing, but it did take a while to prepare. The effort was worth it, though!

The layers came together beautifully, and the mix of cheeses was spot on.
The blend of mozzarella and cheddar gave it a fantastic cheesy pull, and the meat sauce had the perfect balance of richness and flavour. Will be making this regularly.
