Chicken Salt may sound strange but it takes a dish to a new level. Add it as a topping to Baked Potatoes, chips or lightly over Mac and Cheese. It only contains 3 ingredients, chicken stock cube, coarse sea salt and thyme leaves. However, blend the together as a seasoning and they are lovely.
- 1 large chicken stock cube
- 100 g coarse sea salt
- 2 tsp thyme leaves
- Open one good quality chicken stock cube and crumble it into a grinder/processor.
- Add the course sea salt.
- Add the fresh thyme.
- Pulse the mixture a few times to blend the mixture breaking everything down.
- The stock cube should be thoroughly mixed in.
