    400 g dark brown sugar
  • Place the gammon joint flat side down into the slow cooker.
    3 – 3 1/2 kg smoked gammon joint
  • Use your hands to rub the remaining sugar onto the ham.
  • Cover, and cook on Low for 8 hours
