I have used muesli instead of oats and added a little fruit to stage 1 all with success.

    50 g porridge oats, 350 ml semi skimmed milk
  • Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir through the fruit puree to create a marbled effect.
    1 tbsp fruit compote
  • Top with fresh fruit to serve.
