Category : Fry
To fry is the process of cooking an ingredient in melted animal fat and other fat. For the purpose of this website, this is also called shallow frying as used when frying an egg but is not deep frying. There are many well known recipes and meals based around frying. Also, the most famous must be the good old fry up. A meal of fried bacon, sausages, tomatoes, fried bread, beans, mushrooms, black pudding and fried eggs. However there are more delicate recipes that work so well when fried. These include Warm Mozzarella Sandwich, Incredible Crepes, Dover Sole Meuniere and Shrimp Tempura.
Tips:
Use a good skillet pan, sauté pan for frying pan. All of these pans will distribute heat evenly and are not expensive.
