
Peri-Peri Chicken Livers
A simple but very tasty Peri-Peri recipe that smells and tastes amazing. One to keep ready.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil 15 ml
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2-4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp peri-peri sauce 2 ml
- 8 oz chicken livers 225 g
- 1/2 cup dry white wine 125 ml
- Salt to taste
- Buttered dinner rolls or toast points
- ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a skillet over moderate heat and saute the onion and garlic until lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the peri-peri powder and add the chicken livers.
- Sauté until the livers are just cooked, about 5 minutes. Add the wine and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 5 minutes.
- Serve over buttered rolls or toast points.

My god this is so easy but so tasty. Have always loved chicken but the livers give a whole new dimension to it.
