Category - Penne

Penne is a cylinder-shaped pieces of pasta, their ends cut at an angle. They are superb for holding onto sauces and pesto and hold their shape once cooked. Penne are roughly the same size as fusilli and loved both children and adults alike. There are two variants of Penne, smooth and the furrowed which has ridges along its length. The pasta is best cooked al dente to retain its shape.
