The Americas are from Canada to Chile and everything in between. These include Northern America—the northern region of the North American continent. This comprises Canada, the United States, Greenland, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, and Bermuda. Latin America and the Caribbean. Central America—the countries south of the United States and north of Colombia. Finally South America the countries from Columbia and all the way to the tip of Chile.

Due to the vast size of the Americas, the number and difference in cuisines is as vast. There are simple recipes such as Poutine in Canada to Brazilian Shrimp Stew to Torta de Hojas from Chile. With 55 Countries and Dependent Territories within the Americas, it is hardly surprising the recipe range is so vast. The cuisines  have been influenced by European explorers over the centuries.
