Category : Meat
Meat is the flesh of animals for human consumption. The meat category is subdivided for ease of reference. It is composed mainly of water, protein, and fat. It’s actually edible raw, but normally eaten after it’s been cooked. There are exception for example steak tartare.
Due to it’s flexibility and wide range, Meat can be roasted, baked, boiled, pan fried, deep fried, braised, grilled and bbq. Furthermore, it holds spices, marinades, rubs, spreads, seasonings, batter and coatings. What more do you want?
Note:
Most meats are served with vegetables and a starch like potatoes, rice or pasta for a balanced meal. Also included in sandwiches and salads. Every country has its favourite and we will find the recipes.
