Category : Simmer
Simmer is a simple recipe to cook ingredients without the fierce effect of boiling or other methods of cooking. It s often used to help thicken sauces, help enrich meat dishes such as Ragu. The temperature of the simmer is much argued. Basically, the temperature is below boiling but above poaching temperatures. Using this technique you can make dishes like as Hollandaise Sauce, Chili Con Carne and Matzo Ball Soup. Also favourites include Finger Licking Honey Spareribs, Moules Mariniere and Béchamel Sauce. Simmering is a technique that is very useful to home cooks for improving the recipes flavours and textures.
