Salmon is one of the most popular fish in the world due to its delicate, sweet flesh and wide availability. The widespread farming means there is a wide variety in the quality and flavour of the meat. Wild salmon, particularly that from Scottish or Irish rivers, is considered superior. It can be marinated, spiced with chilli’s, coated grilled, fried and baked.  Not to mention steamed, stir-fried and poached. It is one of the easiest fish to cook with and is pretty forgiving. 

It has so many health benefits such as High in Omega 3 Oils, high in Proteins and Vitamin B. Also a good source of potassium and the Antioxidant Astaxanthin.
