Meat is the flesh of animals for human consumption. The meat category is subdivided for ease of reference. It is composedĀ mainly of water, protein, and fat. It’s actually edible raw, but normally eaten after it’s been cooked. There are exception for example steak tartare.
Due to it’s flexibility and wide range, Meat can be roasted, baked, boiled, pan fried, deep fried, braised, grilled and bbq.Ā Furthermore, it holds spices, marinades, rubs, spreads, seasonings, batter and coatings. What more do you want?
